Privacy policy
Last updated: August 15, 2026
Protecting your personal data is a priority. This policy explains what data we collect when you use the Webfluence website, why we collect it, how long we keep it and what your rights are, in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and French data protection law.
1. Data controller
The controller of the data collected on this site is Webfluence, a French SAS with a share capital of 1,000 euros, registered under number 108 613 738 (Antibes), with its registered office at 47 avenue Pierre Ziller, 06700 Saint-Laurent-du-Var, France.
For any question about your personal data, you can write to us through the site's contact form: your request goes straight to the team.
2. Data we collect
Data you provide directly: when you request a website audit or contact us, we collect your email address, your phone number, your website address and, where applicable, your answers to our qualification questions (business sector, main goal).
Data collected automatically: language preference (cookie). We do not collect any sensitive data and we do not carry out any fully automated decision-making producing legal effects concerning you.
Whether a field is required or optional is indicated at the time of collection. Without the required data, we cannot send you the requested report.
3. Why we use your data
To send you the audit report you requested and follow up on it: this processing is based on pre-contractual measures taken at your request (Article 6.1.b GDPR).
To contact you about your request and offer our services: this processing is based on your consent (Article 6.1.a GDPR), collected through a checkbox that is never pre-ticked. You can withdraw this consent at any time.
To remember your language preference and keep the website working properly: this processing is based on our legitimate interest in providing a functional website (Article 6.1.f GDPR).
4. Who can access your data
Your data is intended exclusively for the Webfluence team. It is sent to our internal request management tool and may pass through our technical providers (hosting, email), acting as processors within the meaning of Article 28 GDPR and offering appropriate guarantees.
We never sell or rent your data to third parties. Our hosting provider is based in the United States: this transfer is covered by the EU-US adequacy decision (Data Privacy Framework), which it has joined. Any other transfer outside the European Union would rely on appropriate safeguards (adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses).
5. How long we keep it
Prospect data (audit requests, sales exchanges): 3 years from your last contact, then deletion or anonymization.
Language preference cookie: 12 months at most.
Data required to comply with a legal obligation: for the period required by applicable law.
6. Your rights
In accordance with Articles 15 to 22 GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict its processing, to data portability, to object to the processing, and to withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
You can exercise these rights at any time through the site's contact form, providing proof of your identity. We reply within one month, extendable by two months for complex requests.
If you believe your rights are not being respected, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL (the French data protection authority), 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07, France, or at cnil.fr.
7. Cookies
The site uses a language-preference cookie (strictly necessary) and, only if you consent via the banner, audience-measurement cookies (Google Analytics). No advertising cookies are set.
You can accept, decline or change your choice at any time. Details are on the Cookies page.
8. Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against loss, unauthorized access, alteration or disclosure: encrypted exchanges (HTTPS), access restricted to authorized people and data minimization.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect legal, technical or organizational changes. The current, dated version is published on this page. In the event of a substantial change, a visible notice will be displayed on the website.
